The heating element itself is a halogen-filled quartz tube. This design keeps the heat output steady over time, so you don’t get that annoying performance drop-off you see with standard filament lamps. We also added a special coating to the tube. It helps spread the heat evenly and shields the inner parts from the elements. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a simple, plug-and-play fit for compatible fixtures. Seriously, it makes installation a breeze. If you’re replacing an old unit, it’s a straight swap—no messing around with complicated wiring.
The Real-World Trade-Off
