To make this work, we need a bit more room for the rails and quick-connect terminals. The unit is slightly bigger than those old-school, welded one-piece heaters. If you’re planning your ceiling height, just give yourself an extra 50mm of clearance. It’s a small price to pay to avoid the trap of having to replace the entire system just because one part gave up. Real-World Reliability Let’s be honest about shop floors. Things get dirty. They take a beating. After five years of heating up and cooling down, screws rust and wires get brittle. That’s why we used oversized locking clips and heat-resistant connectors. You won’t need a specialized toolkit or a lot of patience to get them open. No fighting with seized bolts. No snapping fragile wires. By keeping the heating element separate from the frame, the wear and tear stays where it belongs—in the part you can actually replace. Swap the tube, flip the switch, and get back to work.
